As casual as it is cozy, as stylish as it is relaxed, yet down-to-earth and family-friendly: This is what CARL & SOPHIE Spree Restaurant stands for, located on the grounds of the former Bolle Dairy. Today, the historic dairy complex with its heritage-protected brick buildings provides the perfect backdrop for relaxed moments of indulgence: from a quick lunch break to a leisurely lunch getaway, important business meals, convivial dinners, and romantic dates. With us, you’ll experience the perfect harmony between urban flair and natural beauty directly on the Spree River. In service and in the kitchen, a well-coordinated, professional team led by head chef Martin Höse ensures that your visit becomes a first-class experience.
Dine on one of our spacious terraces or in our restaurant area with panoramic windows through which the Spree shows its most beautiful side all year round.
FARM ESTATE WENG
Founded in 1553 and certified organic since 2012, our Weng estate in the idyllic Amerang in Bavaria is dedicated to raising old, German and now less common animal species, such as the Murnau Werdenfelser cattle, the colorful Bentheimer pig and the Alpine stone sheep.
A high level of animal welfare results from more than species-appropriate free-range farming on over 30 hectares of meadow.
With the philosophy “taste takes time”, our estate is characterized by keeping animals for at least twice as long and using purely organic farming methods.
We are pleased to be able to serve you our highest quality meat with the finest marbling – as one of two restaurants in Germany.

Enjoy the generous variety of grape varieties! From delicious white wines from large plants from Germany to full-bodied red wines from sunny Spain. Our team is happy to make a recommendation.

Cooking means much more than just preparing food. It is understood as a universal language that expresses appreciation for the ingredients and our guests. Our head chef Martin Höse motivates the team to contribute new ideas. We can get excited about the finest meat and continuously perfect its preparation, but we are equally inspired by vegetarian dishes that create excitement and offer variety through unusual combinations. At CARL & SOPHIE, the focus is not on one particular dish, but rather every plate demonstrates attention to detail and our commitment to quality.
The menu at CARL & SOPHIE is rounded off with dairy dishes – as a reminiscence of the dairy founder Carl Bolle.

You can enjoy excellent cocktails, drinks and fine wines in the CARL & SOPHIE Bar. Local suppliers – honest, special and of the highest quality are the focus here. Popular bar classics are supplemented with special features.
At CARL & SOPHIE you can sit back and relax – whether at the bar counter, at one of the tables, in the open loft room or on the terraces. With a view of the Spree, it is the ideal meeting point.
